What to know
Fogue & Bates has been one of the names Tulsa cigar people mention first for a long time. Owner James George built a shop with enough standing in the industry that Drew Estate created a store exclusive for it, the ACID Supercell, released at the shop in 2015.
Fogue & Bates is also the only authorized Davidoff retailer in northeastern Oklahoma, which is why you'll find a full Davidoff cabinet in the humidor. The shop is a careful curator of Arturo Fuente as well. It keeps allocated and rare Fuente releases in what it calls the Vault, and those cigars are sold only next door at The Royale Spirits and Cigars.
The shop sits on South Sheridan near 42nd Street, right next door to The Royale. Fogue & Bates has also run a warehouse-style store on 15th Street in the Cherry Street district. We're confirming that location's current status and will add it here once we have.
This is a retail-first shop. Go when you want to browse a big humidor, find something you can't get elsewhere, or ask for a recommendation from people who know the inventory. If you want to sit with a drink afterward, The Royale is a few steps away from the Midtown store.
